StayDocs (“StayDocs”, “we”, “us”) helps small properties in India keep their bookings in one place. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@staydocs.com.
1. What we collect
When you join the waitlist
Your email, property name, city, and (optionally) your WhatsApp number. We use these only to contact you about getting started with StayDocs.
When you use the product
- Account details — your name, email and login credentials.
- Booking data — reservations, guest names, dates, rooms and balances that you add or that we read from your connected channel calendars.
- Channel calendars — we read your Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda iCal links. This access is read-only: we never change your listings, prices or availability on those platforms.
Automatically
Basic usage and device information (for example pages viewed and rough device type) to understand what’s working and fix what isn’t. Where analytics are enabled we use privacy-respecting tooling and do not sell this data.
2. How we use your data
- To run your calendar and show your bookings in one place.
- To contact you about your account, the waitlist, or support.
- To take payment for paid plans.
- To improve StayDocs and keep it secure.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what’s necessary with trusted service providers who help us run StayDocs:
- Razorpay — to process UPI and card payments in ₹. Card details are handled by Razorpay, not stored by us.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — to store your data securely and serve the app.
- Analytics — to understand product usage in aggregate.
We may also disclose data if required by law.
4. Where your data lives & how long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as you have an account, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
5. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and act quickly if something goes wrong.
6. Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from the waitlist or marketing messages at any time.
- Disconnect a channel calendar whenever you like.

7. Children
StayDocs is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated directly where appropriate.
