Does StayDocs really stop double-bookings?
Yes — it's the reason StayDocs exists. Every booking you make in StayDocs is checked against every other booking, and a clash is blocked on the spot. Your online bookings flow onto the same calendar through your calendar link (updates every 30 minutes) or instant sync (updates in seconds, on Pro and Max) — so everyone works from one calendar.
How is this different from big hotel software?
Big hotel software is built for big hotels — long setup, training courses, desktop screens. StayDocs is built for a 10–25 room property run from a phone: front-desk speed, a hard double-booking guarantee, and a price that makes sense at your size.
Why is there no free trial?
Honest answer: connecting a property properly takes real setup, and a half-connected account that looks synced but isn't is exactly the disaster we're built to prevent. So instead: the Free plan is free forever — a real plan, not a countdown — and when you go paid, Team StayDocs sets everything up with you personally before you rely on it.
What about MakeMyTrip and Goibibo?
Instant sync with MakeMyTrip and Goibibo needs your property's own direct agreement with them. Until you have that, those bookings still land on your StayDocs calendar — through your calendar link or a forwarded screenshot — and still get clash protection.
Do I need to install anything?
No. StayDocs opens in any phone or laptop browser — Chrome, Safari, anything. Nothing to download, nothing to update.
How do payment and renewal work?
UPI and cards in ₹, through Razorpay. There's no auto-charge — we send you a WhatsApp reminder before your month ends and you renew in one tap. You're never billed silently.
